TV OLED

LG OLED77W8PLA

The W7P consists of two parts: an OLED panel and a sound section with a control unit. The screen is an OLED panel that is a large, slim glass rectangle. It does not have a desk or floor stand and must be attached to the wall. Because it is so thin, its power can only be used with the included mounting bracket, which is a large rectangular plate with a smaller rectangular cutout at the bottom. It is screwed to the wall and secured so that the panel can hold on using small key holes in the back. This allows the TV to stay very close to the wall.

The LG OLED65W7PIt has an amazing look. If you can hide the cables, everything you can see is a picture that stands out above the wall. It's much thinner than any other TV we've seen. This style is part of the expensive price you pay compared to C7P.

The screen connection to the sound and control unit is created using a single 18.5-inch flat white ribbon cable. The cable is not built and equipped to be installed on the wall, but you can pass it through the channel or simply attach it behind the panel so that it is not visible. Also included is a 63-inch extension cable if you do not plan to place the sound bar just below the TV.

The sound control unit is equipped with a TV brain processor, maintaining all connections and electronics for a single Dolby Atmos sound system. It is a lanyard with a silver and silver band with metal stripes that run along the side and the front looks like a grid with two circular projections. It extends from the left and right of the top panel. At the back of the rib is four HDMI ports, two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port, an Ethernet port, a 3.5mm port for composite / component video input, an optical audio output, and an antenna / cable connector. A small four-way joystick on the right side of the sound bar provides direct TV control.

On the sound side, the sound bar is a 4.2-channel, 60-watt Dolby Atmos sound system. The left and right channels light up at the front of the sound bar when there is standard stereo sound, while the left and right height channels come from cylindrical bumps at the top of the sound bar, providing support for Dolby Atmos sound. A couple of subwoofers in the sound dock add to the low level of sound. The price does not include subwoofers.

The W7P comes with two remote controls for use with the WebOS 3.5 interface. These are silver colors equipped with more buttons than smaller consoles, curved Magic Remotes that fit into the design of the TV. The largest remote control is 8.9 inches long with flat, textured rubber buttons that stretch over two-thirds of its length. In the middle of the remote control you can see a clickable scroll wheel surrounded by a four-way navigation pad. The numeric and volume pad is located above the navigation pad while the play buttons, four-color buttons and special buttons on the Amazon and Netflix are directly below it. The Pinhole microphone at the top allows you to use the WebOS voice search feature. This large remote control is also used as a wirele mouse, allowing you to control the screen functions with the mouse pointer movement.

The smallest remote control is a simpler controller for the simplest functions. It has a length of 5.6 inches and has no wirel function, microphone, digital pad and large remote wheel. It simply shows the navigation pad with a simple OK button, volume and channel control, as well as the HOME function, back, in port, and power buttons.

Like all LG TVs, W7P uses the LG WebOS platform for web applications and streaming services. It has an attractive, sophisticated interface with the most commonly used features such as voice search, live TV guide, and a web browser that works well with a remote control with wireless control.

Image quality differs from similar OLED panels, and applies to both G7P and W7P. Although the G7P we look at is a bit adjustable, its contrast and color adjustment is almost identical to W7P. Because of this, the pictures on both televisions are almost the same. And because they are OLED with a wide range of colors, these pictures are great.

The DokuBOX HD episodes feature deep green tones of greenery and yellowing, as well as blue and green plants, and are very different and bright compared to natural colors.

Animal skin and texture shadows are clearly visible and detailed even with bright contrast. The impressive achievement of the TV is the deep red color, it is really clear. It is right crimson, it looks saturated, it is not light or partially bluish.

Image Delay is the time between the dock and the display. This is important when using the TV for fast operation. Technicolor (Expert) in image mode with offset of 87.8ms. For time playing games, this TV is not particularly suitable. You can find other better televisions or monitors for playing games.

Under normal viewing conditions, OLED77W8P consumes 154 watts,
