Huawei MateBook 13

Huawei MateBook 13

Huawei really did not have to bang much after producing a higher class Huawei MateBook X Pro, but Huawei continued to develop the product and set up Huawei MateBook 13. The result is another better Huawei laptop.

You may have read about a similar computer series in last year's MateBook X Pro: Huawei MateBook 13 offers better performance than most similar-class laptops, less money. Not to mention the equally glamorous shape that looks better than the MacBook Air 2018 - it could be said to be almost better.

Of course, there may be some minor nuances here to reach a competitive price, but overall it's a pretty good laptop we've tested.

Huawei sells two MateBook 13 laptop configurations, a first-class version and a high-end version, while both have a 13-inch, 2.560 x 1.440 (220-pixel inch) touchscreen with 3: 2 aspect ratio and 8GB LPDDR3 memory as well as a fingerprint reader built into the power supply. button.

The more affordable model includes the eighth generation Intel Core i5 processor with integrated graphics and 256 GB hard drive (SSD) for 999 euros. Available for € 1299, with Intel Core i7 processor and Nvidia MX150 discrete graphics chip, and 512GB SSD.

Both models also have convenient USB-C ports as well as one free Microsoft Office 365 Personal year without subscription. This pricing wisely reduced the difference with Apple's latest MacBook Air by 100 euros and is still relatively competitive with other competing laptops in the Ultrabooks segment, the Dell XPS 13.

The price is lower and to compare the configuration of the MateBook 13 parts, mostly offering the same or more features than similar manufacturers. Namely, neither XPS 13 nor MacBook Air offer discrete graphics cards. Because the Nvidia MX 150 can have a low power, it gives this laptop a fairly competitive advantage in video playback and gaming among other manufacturers.

Both models are available on Amazon and Newegg and wider retail availability in Latvia may have started in February. Huawei has not yet announced the exact price for the European Union.

It would not be right to think of MateBook 13 as Huawei's best-in-class MateBook X, but the company plans to sell individual series computers at the same time. The MateBook 13 looks almost identical to the X Pro, just a little smaller.

This laptop is housed in the same aluminum case as the previous models by choosing Space Gray or Mystic Silver. However, when you open a laptop, you'll notice one major difference: the webcamera is moved to a different location from previous models.

The size of the MateBook 13 is 14.9 mm (14.9 mm) thin and weighs just 2.87 pounds, is a bit heavier and in fact - just the hair court - thinner than the latest MacBook Air. It is a powerful impressive laptop with an Intel mobile processor as well as a special graphics chip.
