How can I tell if my child has a computer dependency?

Addiction is a physical, mental and social illness characterized by the inability to control the process, time, frequency and amount of use. It cannot be controlled by willpower and character. Dependencies are characterized by the fact that they create co-dependence in the family, in the workplace and in any social environment.

Addictions include not only alcohol, nicotine, drugs, drugs and other substances, but also different processes. We know about gambling addiction for a long time, but addictions from shopping, adrenaline, relationships, and technology can be just as dangerous. Unfortunately, Internet addiction and computer dependency are becoming more common.

Europe has emerged as an immediate will and consumer society. This means that a quick response to the fulfillment of all desires is allowed and even encouraged.

A lot of free or personal time without knowing where to spend after school or work.

Desire to forget about everyday negativity and stress.

Difficulty communicating with other people and peers, feeling of inferiority.

Other addiction has already been acquired.

Lack of social affiliation and identity problems.

Yes?
Using a computer for entertainment is an integral part of everyday life.
Returning home, forget about your duties and immediately sit at your computer.
Because of your computer, you are sacrificing your own interests, spending time with friends and family.
At the moment more time is spent on the computer than a year ago.

Continuously struggling with conscience to sacrifice the time spent on the computer for training or other work.
Purchase a variety of accessories and improve your computer's capabilities all the time.
The computer feels better and safer than anywhere else. Breaking out of the computer, becomes restless, bored, can "explode".
Lie on the time spent at the computer. At night you can't go to bed.
Recently, there have been complaints about more frequent head and back pain, "rubbing" eyes, hurting hands.

Internet-dependent people use networks for social support. It helps you access a particular social group to participate in chatting or teleconferencing. The Internet is also used to gain sexual satisfaction, create a virtual image and heroes, thus creating a new "I". By using your new "I" on the Internet, a person gets recognition and support from other users.

The problem is based on lack of communication or lack of communication skills with peers. Perhaps the problem arises from disagreements on upbringing. Consequences - renunciation of family and friends, as well as financial problems.
